COURSE OUTLINE

  1. Shipping agent – freight forward and its role in international trade – types of ports.
  2. Types of vessel – the berth operating zone – loading and unloading of goods – berth supervisors.
  3. Ship certificates – documents for the goods and containers – marine business and legal terminologies.
  4. Bill of lading- multimodal freight transportation  B/L, charter party B/L.
  5. Marine contract – charter parties, ship rent, shipping market, the ship broker, document of marine insurance.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  1. Participants have to identify shipping agencies work flow tools and documents.
  2. How shipping agencies link all maritime activities and bodies to safe operations.
