- Shipping agent – freight forward and its role in international trade – types of ports.
- Types of vessel – the berth operating zone – loading and unloading of goods – berth supervisors.
- Ship certificates – documents for the goods and containers – marine business and legal terminologies.
- Bill of lading- multimodal freight transportation B/L, charter party B/L.
- Marine contract – charter parties, ship rent, shipping market, the ship broker, document of marine insurance.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Participants have to identify shipping agencies work flow tools and documents.
- How shipping agencies link all maritime activities and bodies to safe operations.
